I’m pretty short on creative energy these days, so during those hours of the night where I might’ve been pushing on some freelance gigs or collaborative projects, I’m instead reading more, and playing more games. For the past few months my go-to time killer has been the wonderful Brogue. ASCII-based games can be alienating, but I promise you this is darn accessible, and absolutely gorgeous for being purely text. Short sessions, packed with mystery and surprise, totally free.
